About Cheryl
I believe intimacy and self discovery are life long practices . My work invites people to slow down, listen deeply and discover the wisdom in mind and body.
I am a mother and grandmother and my life is enriched by relationships spanning generations with family, friends and a loving long term partnership . I believe we keep learning about ourselves and others across our whole lives.
For more than 20 years, I’ve worked with individuals and couples exploring intimacy, sexuality, connection, and personal growth. Over those years, I’ve learned that there is no single path to deeper intimacy. Each person and each relationship brings its own history, wisdom, challenges, and possibilities.
My Own Journey
In my early forties, my own life brought me unexpectedly into a profound journey of sexual healing. Parts of myself had shut down, and I began searching for a way back to a sense of safety, connection, and aliveness.
Through experiential and body-based sexual healing work, I discovered that I could create a sense of safety within myself. From that foundation, I began to reclaim a fuller expression of who I am—through my body, my heart, and my mind.
That journey transformed my relationship with intimacy and sexuality and became an important part of the work I offer today. Many of the embodied practices I now share with others have roots in what I first experienced in my own healing, and have continued to study, develop, and make my own over the years.
My own healing journey has also deepened my capacity to meet others with compassion when painful experiences from the past emerge. Over the years, I have supported many people as they felt disconnected from their bodies, helping them as they reconnect with their own sense of safety.
My Path
My path to this work has been anything but conventional. Over the years, I’ve been an educator, a professional flutist and vocalist, an energy healer, comedy improver and a workshop leader. Each of these experiences has shaped the way I listen, the way I work with the body, and the way I create space for meaningful change.
My work is grounded in the understanding that meaningful change doesn’t happen through words alone. Breath, sound, movement, body awareness, meditation, and other embodied practices can help us access parts of ourselves that thinking alone may not reach.
My studies in Tantra and my experiences within sex-positive communities have further shaped my understanding of intimacy, sexuality, relationship, and authentic self-expression. I bring these influences together with curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person’s boundaries, choices, and individual path.
From 2013 to 2026, I served as a practitioner at The Sanctuary at Sedona, working with individuals and couples as part of intensive retreat experiences. Those years deepened my understanding of the ways relationships, intimacy, and personal growth intersect, and continue to inform the work I offer today.
At the heart of all of my work is a belief in our capacity to continue discovering ourselves throughout our lives—to become more present, more fully expressed, and more deeply connected to ourselves and one another.
